Wining and Dining
An extraordinary evening à la Edgar Wallace, with at least one corpse.
The spirit of England in the early 1960s wafts through the hall. An illustrious group gathers for a special celebration. The occasion is the reading of the will of the wealthy and suddenly deceased Lord Ashtonburry.
His widow welcomes the invited guests to lavishly decorated tables in the castle's fireplace room.
So far, everything seems quite normal.
But what unfolds during the course of the delicious four-course meal suggests mysterious complications. Could they prove fatal for one of the relatives?
Did the lord really die of natural causes, or did he stumble upon his greedy nephew?
After initial confusion, it quickly becomes clear that anyone present would have had a more than valid reason to commit murder.
And with that, the stage is set. Not just for the inspector who has been summoned. But also for the opaque relatives who are more than suspicious.
