The existence of a Jewish community in Trier has been documented since Roman antiquity. The city's history is closely intertwined with that of the Jewish community.

Our walking tour will take you to various relevant sites and provide insights into the city's eventful history over the centuries, from the 9th and 10th centuries, through settlements, pogroms, and expulsions to the Holocaust.
