The filming of the popular series “Shopping Queen” in Trier began back in October 2019. Now we can view the episodes on the TV channel “VOX” each afternoon at 3:00 p.m. We can already clue you in on this much: The candidates in the Trier version are Anna, Gabi, Jennifer, Vanessa, and Ivana. Together they’ll take on the slogan "Long Time No See: Show me what your new long blazer can do!" The format is making a guest appearance in Trier for the first time. However, some years ago, the celebrity version of “Shopping Queen” had Guildo Horn as guest, who also shopped in Trier.

The principle of the show is basically always the same: a slogan, €500, and four hours’ time to create the perfect look. Guido Maria Kretschmer accompanies the shopping tour with voice over and places special attention on how advantageous or disadvantageous the respective clothing tried-on is and how closely the women’s look follows the slogan. The candidate who receives the most points from Guido Maria Kretschmer and from her co-contestants at the end of the week will be the “Shopping Queen” and receive a winner’s prize of €1000.
